Meanwhile in Austin, I co-produced a 3-day video shoot with Laura from Grandfalloon Productions and Photographer/Director Matthew Williams at a gorgeous house that couldn’t have been a better fit for the project. One of the bigger lifts was swapping out two high-end appliances so we could feature the latest models of Sub-Zero refrigerators , Wolf ranges, and Cove dishwashers. The shoot itself felt pretty intimate, but the crew was surprisingly big—which definitely helped keep things moving without a hitch. The whole thing came together thanks to Barbara Schmidt, my longtime collaborator from Minneapolis. We’ve known each other for nearly 20 years, and her trust in me was a big reason I got the call. Food was a major part of the shoot, and having Olivia Caminiti in charge of that made all the difference. She’s got a great eye and made sure every dish looked camera-ready and delicious, which really elevated the final footage. All in all, it was a smooth, collaborative few days. Great team, great location, and a solid showcase for some truly premium kitchen gear. Couldn’t have asked for a better crew to pull it off.
