For more than three months, I worked with Alexander Zoltai on video and photo shoots for the Mayo Clinic Cancer Centers, covering three cities: Rochester, MN; Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ; and Jacksonville, FL. We had 14 shoot days (FOURTEEN!!) across those locations to gather everything needed for the campaign. Our main contact at Mayo was instrumental—coordinating with nearly a hundred doctors and staff to make sure we had access to all the key areas. In each city, I handled casting for the patient actors and managed crew logistics, including travel and local hires. It was the longest shoot I’ve done since a 2014 Amex project, and it came with its fair share of challenges—balancing schedules, locations, and timelines over several months. But it was also incredibly rewarding. I had a skilled, reliable crew backing me up the whole way, which made the workload much more manageable. The final work really reflects the effort and collaboration that went into it.
